Our Story
From Havana, 1948 — to the world.
John and Luisa Guiteras opened Lorraine Travel in Havana in 1948, when air travel was still a rite of passage and a passport was a promise. In 1960 the family carried the firm — and its standard of care — to Coral Gables, Florida, where the family built one of the largest privately owned travel companies in the state.
Few travel houses survive nearly eighty years. Lorraine Travel did — because we never stopped doing it the old way: by hand, by relationship, by name.
